Blaze is the first born puppy from the Suaralayn Photography litter and the first brindle Suaralayn basenji. He is the son of Illy (Suaralayn Single Origin - 25% Avongara) and the Czech male Dexter. Illy's first litter has been born at our home and it is extra special to us that Blaze lives where he was born.
An elegant and powerful male with a good dose of mischief and a preference for a lot of cuddles. Blaze loves running, playing and snuggling with Beau, Illy, Isra, Maeva, Aoide and Finlay. He enjoys walks for the full 100% and loves to work to earn praise and treats. He passed the puppy obedience, basic obedience, puberty obedience and advance obedience with flying colours.
Blaze also got a first taste of racing on the track and it is safe to say that he loves it! He became fastest Junior during the Tonda Cup 2024. We started agility in January 2025 and he really enjoys it so far!
We started showing Blaze in baby class and he became Best Baby in Show during the IDS Brabant Outdoor. As we moved on to puppy class he became BISS Puppy during the German Basenji Specialty Show 2024 and Blaze has obtained his Dutch Junior Champion title within the minimum of 3 shows with a BOS Junior, BOS and BoB during the Dutch Winner Show. Since Blaze really enjoys the show ring we look forward to keep showing him in the future.
